Background Info
WereCreature/ Lycanthropes
*Lycanthropes can only shift from one complete form to another. This other form is an animal of any choice. The chosen animal looks exactly as a regular animal would
*If a lycanthrope is young then it has not yet mastered controlling the shifts of one form to another. If angerd or threatened, a young lycanthrope has a great deal of difficulty restraining the urge to shift to animal form.
*When in animal form, a lycanthrope relies mostly on animal instinct. It is difficult for a lycanthrope to resist instinctive cravings. This is especially true of the young
*All injuries except lethal and ones made by silver, heal at a rapid pace. Lycanthropes have a very fast regeneration time
*Silver is toxic (AKA poison) to lycanthrope. It can cause servere burns, and poison the victim if it gets into the bloodstream. Silver bullets if not removed immediately are fatal, along with any prolonged exposure to silver
*Lycanthropes are immune to disease and infection
*A lycanthrope is immortal. It does however age in appearance and in pace with a human until it reaches 25
*They do not die of starvation, but they do use large amounts of human food for energy
*The only way to kill a lycanthrope is silver, decapitation or mutilation of the heart (AKA ripping it out)
*Because the souls of all lycanthrope belong to Hades, they will serve him in the underworld after death
*They have amazing speed, strength and heightened senses (particularly smell)
*Lycanthropes produce offspring. The children are also cursed
*Scientifically a species is defined as a population of organisms that can reproduce. Because of this, lycanthropy is not a species, it is however, a genus. For all you non-science folk, that means that all werecreatures are lycantropes but reproduction cannot happen unless it's in the same 'species' or 'type of animal'. Werewolves only have pups with other werewolves, weretigers only have kittens with weretigers and weremonkies only have baby monkies with other weremonkies. You can mate with a different species, but you cannot have viable offspring
*It is rare but some lycanthropes have been found with special abilities
*They have heartbeats, brain activity, moving vessels etc.
*The curse can be spread to a human from a bite
* There are a few old familes of lycanthropes that see themselves as superior to humans. Because of this many have human servants whose decendents serve the family as well
Vampires
*Vampires require life, or blood, to obtain energy. They do not and can not eat human food
*A vampire can't die from starvation, or lack of blood. The blood lust does however consume all senses, causing the vampire's rational thinking and reason to cease. It also causes them to loose energy. The blood lust is intensified in a young vampire
*To a vampire, all blood can give energy, some types better than others. Human blood is at the top, followed by large animals and then small.
*As silly as it sounds, vampires are allergic to the sun. Sunlight causes rapid and extremely servere burns, that take an immensely long time to heal if at all. Time left in the sun for more than a few minutes will cause the vampire to literally burst into flames and burn alive.
*Vampires reproduce. The child is also a vampire
*Vampires can only reproduce with other vampires. Mating can be done, but no babies unless it is with another vampire
*Vampires are immortal but they do grow in appearance and pace with a human until the age 25
*They can only die from sunlight, decapitation or heart mutilation (AKA impaling it with a large stick)
*It is very rare but some vampires have been found with special abilities
*Vampires have heartbeats, blood, brain activity, moving vessels etc.
*Vampires have heighted senses such as smell, sight, hearing, speed, and strength
*Immune to infection and disease
*The curse can be spread to a human from a bite
*Not all, but most vampires see themselves as superior to humans. Because of this many have human servants whose decendents serve the family as well
