Her eyes fluttered open. She looked around the dusty bookshelves and realized where she was, the library. She looked at her watch. She had only dozed off for about ten minutes. Her cheek was red where her palm pressed against it. Thankfully, she didn't drool. Not that it would matter. No one was there. She quickly realized why she was here. She came here looking for people her age, unsuccessful. Why would they be here? It was the library.
She groaned and looked at the book in front of her. It was about biology. She remembered picking a random book off the shelf, looking for a way to pass the time. She looked to see she was on chapter four. She didn't remember reading a word. She probably didn't either. Probably just looking for a way to pass the time. She put the book on the shelf and sat back in the seat. She looked up at the ceiling and counted the lines on the tiles.
A pencil that rolled on her denim skirt awoken her from her trance. She looked down over her green and blue striped shirt to the black pencil on her skirt. She let out a heavy sigh and went back to counting the lines on the ceiling.

Amele let out a long sigh as walked through the huge, mahogany doors of the library. She was beginning to get homesick and was missing everything that was back home. Well, almost everything. Chuckling darkly, she turned the corner and walked into the main section of the library.
As she walked in Amele immediately noticed the sleeping girl, and her left eyebrow rose. Someone else was in the library? She shook her head in surprise and walked towards the back of the library. Amele grabbed a random book of the shelf and sat down where she was, her back against the wall.
Five minutes had past, and the book had not managed to capture her interest, it was good, but. . . .A groan. Someone had groaned. Standing up quickly, Amele festinately walked over to the edge of the old, book, shelf and cautiously peered around.
It was the girl, apparently she had woken up. Laughing at her own stupidity, Amele watched as the girl stared up at the ceiling. . . . Where had she seen that face before? The girl looked so familiar, but she couldn't place her. It wasn't at the school, was it?
She knew her, it was from before school, before Andre, it was, "JAILEE!" Jumping around the corner, she ignored the irritated expression of the librarian and rushed over to the table. "Jailee? Is that you?" Foolishly forgetting to state her own name, Amele sat down and stared at, who she hoped was, her long time friend, Jailee Reynolds.
[[Not my best, sorry]]

Jailee's head snapped up. She automatically recognized the voice even after the many years. "AMELE!" She yelled. She got up from the chair and took her old friend into an embrace. "It's been too long!" She said, still hugging her.
When she pulled away she looked up and down Amele. "Look who got sexy!" She giggled and gave her another hug. "I bet the boys are all over this foxy lady." She smiled.
((mines bad too so don't feel bad.))

"Jailee," Amele smiled, still astonished that her long lost friend was truly here, "I can't believe that it is really you! What have you been up to for the past.. . " Quickly counting in her head, she shook her head at the number, "Eleven years?" Hugging her long friend tightly, she closed her eyes for a brief moment, and allowed her mind to take her back to what had been.
Jailee had been Amele's closest, and only friend for a very long time. Despite their differences, they had managed to become very close and protective of one another. Amele sighed and let go of her friend, some things just couldn't be saved. . .
Amele smirked at the pun and smoothly replied, "I don't know what you are talking about. The only ladies I see in here are us, and I doubt you are referring to yourself." Laughing, she ignored the painful twinge in her heart. While she may not like people in that way, it was still hard to think that for the rest of her life she would have no one but Andre, and that was completely unwelcomed. Turning her engagement ringer around her finger a few times, Amele grinned and turned the subject away from herself.
"Look who is talking, though," Her eyes swept over Jailee appraisingly, "You grew up! If anyone is chasing the boys aways, it has to be you."

She rolled her eyes. "I've been up to no good. You know me." She smiled an evil smile. "You know, just trying to get through life with out making a total laughing stock out of myself. That's what my life is based on." She laughed.
She rolled her eyes again. "Oh please. I couldn't get a date to save my life." Then she noticed what Amele was playing with. She grabbed her hand. "Oh my God!" Jailee jumped up and down looking at the ring on her finger. "Who is he?" She asked smiling widely.
